The Technical Superintendent manages all repair and maintenance activities of the vessels in the fleet. Total fleet under our management consists of 9 vessels. The Technical Superintendent is working as part of tight 4-person team.
Your role
Ensure the assigned asset is technically fit for purpose in the broadest sense
Responsible for the yearly repair and maintenance and investment budgets for the assigned assets
Responsible for the scheduled dry-docking preparations and control of the dd scope and budget of the assigned vessel(s)
Act as a Project Manager; organise and control the repair and maintenance of the assigned assets including damage repairs, modifications and project preparations
Actively propose and support standardisation of working methods and improvement of procedures
Approve purchase orders and invoices related to
Collaborate/communicate with crew
What we expect from you
BSc degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of rules and regulations of classification societies and IMO
